Counselman Automotive Recycling is in need of a self motivated individual, that can work independently and is extremely articulate, giving great attention to detail. The candidate will play a vital role in ensuring only the highest quality products are being shipped to our customers. The person selected will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and packaging used automotive parts to meet the company's quality standards and customer expectations.
Position is also responsible to be a back-up in other areas within, including but not limited to delivering parts if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly inspect used automotive parts, including engines, transmissions, body components, and other components to identify defects, wear, and damage.
- Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records on part conditions.
- Ensure that all findings are properly recorded in selected software program.
- Package inspected parts securely to prevent damage during shipping.
- Properly label parts with all necessary information as per company standard.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must have clean MVR (motor vehicle report for past 3 years)
- Previous experience in automotive quality control, automotive repair, or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
