CLYNK is a circular economy solutions provider. We make it easy for retailers, brands, redemption operators and everyday people to do the right thing through our consumer-centric “bag-drop” technology solutions. We are the fastest growing mode of beverage container recycling and the most requested option by consumers. Our technology supports recycling at scale across an entire ecosystem including states with Deposit Recovery Systems (aka Bottle Bills) and Producer Responsibility Organizations or Brands who enable customers to recycle with convenient solutions.
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our well-regarded and growing team. If you don’t have inbound service experience but have been in roles where you have practiced customer support, we will train you!
Often the first point of contact for customers, we are seeking a customer service professional who is adept at engaging with customers. By joining our team, you will work alongside colleagues who are not just going to get the job "done" but will go above and beyond to delight our customers.
To be successful in this role, you are a professional problem solver by building positive rapport and communicating appropriately with different personality types. You are also a specialized consultant for all things CLYNK, guiding our customers through the process of recycling and redemption to help make their experience with us as successful as possible.
Specifically, you will field calls and emails from customers and help answer questions about their account. In addition to helping individual members, you will also support our CLYNK to Give customers who execute a variety of fundraising activities on behalf of schools, 501(c)(3) organizations, and groups of passionate people who unite for a cause and rely on CLYNK to make them successful. The devil is in the details when it comes to recycling and redemption and therefore you need to have a strong ability to explain complex subjects in an easy-to-understand way.
Essential Functions :
- Receive, evaluate & answer incoming calls and digital communications in a timely and professional manner
- Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide resolution; able to identify, properly document and resolve or escalate consumer complaints fully and accurately describes the issue to be resolved
- Accurately record key call and email details into CLYNK’s Customer Service management system
- Applies knowledge related to CLYNK’s services and more broadly details associated with State Bottle Bills to perform assigned duties
- Follows standard procedures as set by CLYNK Customer Service policies
- Meet personal / team qualitative and quantitative targets
- Able to work an assigned 8hr / day schedule between the hours of 8 : 30 am and 8 : 00 pm ET, weekends may be required
- Performs other duties as the business requires
