Position Summary :
As a Master Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of the machinery and therefore overall operations of our primary processing facility in Biddeford, ME. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of motored machinery. This position requires a deep understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.

Essential Functions :
Diagnosis : Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in various types of machinery.
Repairs and Maintenance : Perform complex and precise repairs on industrial conveyors, balers, and various other proprietary industrial equipment.
Problem Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical problems efficiently, using advanced technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
Supervision and Training : Mentor and provide guidance to Maintenance Technicians, ensuring their skills and knowledge align with industry standards.
Quality Assurance : Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards, conducting post-repair inspections to verify the integrity of the work.
Parts Management : Manage inventory, order replacement parts, and maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
Customer Service : Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal team and outside vendors, explaining repair options, costs, and timelines, and providing exceptional service to build trust and loyalty.
Requirements :
A high school diploma or equivalent with a valid Master Mechanic certification
Previous experience in lean manufacturing or in similar fast-paced environment
Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others
Ability to collaborate effectively internally (Redemption Operations management and staff) and externally (vendors)
Attention to detail with the ability to identify root causes of issues
Self-directed with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing situations
Effective communication skills and a good team player
Willingness to work weekend and / or evening shifts as needed
Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs., work on your feet for extended periods, and have great hand-eye coordination
Ability to twist, turn, push, pull, bend, kneel, squat, and reach
Ability to climb and work at heights up to 20 feet
Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and ability to be insured by CLYNK’s auto insurance company
