We are the fastest growing mode of beverage container recycling and the most requested option by consumers. Our technology supports recycling at scale across an entire ecosystem including states with Deposit Recovery Systems (aka Bottle Bills) and Producer Responsibility Organizations or Brands who enable customers to recycle with convenient solutions.
CLYNK is looking for a Senior Accountant to play a key role in our finance department. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and contributing to the overall financial health and success of CLYNK. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company that is passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.
The role will include the following responsibilities :
- Financial Reporting : Assist in the preparation and analysis of the financial statements. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Month-End and Year-End Close : Support closing processes, ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- General Ledger Management : Maintain and reconcile assigned portions of the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Revenue Management : Responsible for all aspects of revenue recognition.
- Accounts Receivable : Oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections.
- Payroll : Process weekly payroll; create and enter related journal entries.
- Tax Compliance : Manage and oversee all property and sales tax filings.
- ERP System Management : Assist the Controller in maintaining and optimizing the newly implemented ERP system.
- Financial Analysis : Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and ad-hoc reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Capital Budgeting : Work with department leads to analyze potential capital projects.
- Project Accounting : Work with project managers to forecast and calculate project profitability.
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Assist the finance team in developing budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
- Financial Controls : Develop and implement financial to enhance operational efficiency.
- Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to optimize accounting practices and procedures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives.
