We are seeking a passionate and hands-on Product Manager, Software to lead the development and strategy for our software, data analysis, and bioinformatics tools. Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the product vision and strategy for Countable Labs's software and bioinformatics tools.
Conduct market research to identify high-impact applications and opportunities in genomics.
Collaborate closely with a cross-functional R&D team, including assay developers, bioinformaticians, and engineers, to build innovative solutions.
Gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with our mission and business goals.
Manage the full product lifecycle-from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
Develop product roadmaps and drive execution with focus and agility.
Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to inform iterative improvements.
Partner with marketing and sales teams to craft compelling product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape.
Report directly to the VP of Product and Founding Scientist.

Qualifications
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
3 years of product management experience, ideally in software or bioinformatics tools.
Hands-on expertise in data analysis, visualization tools, and bioinformatics pipelines.
Strong communicator and team player with exceptional problem-solving and leadership skills.
Experience with product management tools (e.g., Notion, JIRA, Confluence).
A solid understanding of genomics, molecular biology, and data analysis techniques is highly desirable.
Familiarity with product development in regulated environments (e.g., ISO 13485) is a plus.
