Template Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Custom Stone Templater to join our team. As a Custom Stone Templater, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and creating templates for custom stone countertops. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. You must have a clean driving record and be able to successfully pass a background check. This position is a Wednesday - Friday from 7 am to 5 pm. Occasionally, you will be ask to work Monday or Tuesday as well.

Duties:
- Visit customer sites to measure and template custom stone countertops
- Use measuring tools, such as laser templating systems, to ensure accurate measurements
- Create detailed templates that capture all necessary dimensions and specifications and upload them into our system
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure templates are translated into accurate stone pieces
- Maintain an organized and efficient workflow to meet project deadlines
- Communicate effectively with customers to address any questions or concerns regarding the templating process
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working on-site

- Knowledge of basic construction is a plus.

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Custom Stone Templeter or similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in using measuring tools, such as laser templating systems, is required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Knowledge of different types of stone materials and their characteristics is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently - Strong computer knowledge

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
