What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Video and Camera Service Technician position at CounterTrade Products, Inc.?
CounterTrade Products, Inc. is seeking a qualified Information Technology (IT) Camera and Access Control Service Technician to handle the installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of IP cameras and associated access control technologies. The ideal candidate has prior experience with both Axis and Verkada branded components as well as a working knowledge of networking as it relates to IP cameras and door access systems. The position requires knowledge of associated equipment including DVR, NAS, and other storage devices used in conjunction with IP cameras.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Required
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of IP cameras and associated devices including DVR and NAS
- Cleaning of cameras in both indoor and outdoor locations
- Availability to be dispatched within 48 hours to address issues at customer locations
- Troubleshooting of system issues from the camera to storage location
- Validation of cabling within camera systems
- Running and removal of cabling related to camera systems
