Things you will own as a Supply Chain Planning Manager:
- Develop and implement strategies for effective protein allocation and deployment across our manufacturing network.
- Collaborate with 3rd party warehouses and internal teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
- Oversee the thawing process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Coordinate with production teams to optimize schedules and minimize downtime.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with procurement, production, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Establish strong relationships with external partners to enhance communication and collaboration.
- Develop models and processes to review supply chain performance, including inventory levels, costs, and efficiencies on a weekly basis.
- Develop replenishment plan for individual 3rd party warehouses.
- Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7 years in supply chain management with focus on food manufacturing; experience with protein a plus.
- Demonstrated success in managing the inventory of raw materials across numerous production sites.
- Expert in excel modeling.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, production planning, and logistics.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems), experience with implementation is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
