We are in search of a Public Space Attendant that will play a key role in the success of this hotel. If you are experienced, innovative, tenacious, and ready to make your mark we want to hear from you.

This position reports directly to the Housekeeping Manager and is responsible for the following:

• The Public Space Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of public areas and corridors of the hotel.
• Cleaning furniture, elevators, glass, planters, etc. in public areas such as lobby, pool, and public restrooms.
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, hallways and stairwells.
• Spot cleaning walls, carpets, light fixtures, etc.
• Reporting maintenance problems or completing repair orders.
• Participate in all mandatory job training and meetings.

The associate is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The associate may frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.? May be exposed to cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• Prompt and regular attendance - the hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
• Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other. than those they prefer or normally work, and overtime as required.
• Minimum availability of 16 hours per week for part-time employees.
• Comply with hotel and/or department uniform and professional behavior and appearance standards.
• Carry out all reasonable requests by team leaders and managers and act as a team player with all levels of staff.
• Review and approve electronic timecards weekly for accuracy.
