Job Summary:
The Busser is integral to the guest experience. The Bus Person will uphold the standards of guest relations by providing friendliness and cleanliness in the restaurant area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide courteous service to our guests and be cordial to all Team Members
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Maintain clean dining room floor and seating areas
- Set tables with silverware, glassware and napkins
- Deliver food from kitchen to restaurant as needed
- Notify manager of deficiencies
- Carry dishes from dining room to kitchen
- Performs clean-up and closing procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum education: High School (or equivalent)diploma
- Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
- Must have good work ethic
- Must be dependable
- Must be able to work well in a fast paced environment
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must be able to multi-task efficiently
- Must be well organized and detail-oriented
- Must have strong communication skills
Working Condition:
- Physical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and, scooping.
- The employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and hands
- The employee occasionally will be required to lift up to 30lbs.
- Use of sight, hearing, wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areas
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
- Work weekends and holidays
