POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Dishwashers are responsible for washing and storing all glassware, pots, pans, silverware, and other kitchen equipment.
It is the responsibility of the employee to uphold the core values of CCL. Excellent time management and effective communication skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT:
Professional high pace F&B banquet environment, exposure to outdoor environment as private events or member events dictated as well as golf course, tennis, pool or sports center needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Washing and Storage of all glassware, china, and silver
- Washing and Storage of all pots, pans, and large kitchen equipment.
- Removing trash, general cleaning and minimal kitchen prep.
- Responsible for cleanliness of the entire kitchen, back dock, and dumpster area.
- Responsible for personal hygiene.
- Ensure closing procedures are handled properly.
OTHER ACCOUNTABILITIES
Due to the nature of this position it is impossible to list all things you will be exposed to or ultimately have responsibility for. Because of the fluctuating demands of the club's operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your position, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed. Our goal will always be to do what is right to assist Members, guests and other employees to maximize the success and enjoyment of the Club.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
1. Reports Directly To: Executive Chef
2. Also Reports To: Executive Sous Chef
3. Directly Supervises: None
4. Working Relationships: Works with all CCL F&B employees to keep a clean, sanitary kitchen.
POSITION WORKDAY REQUIREMENTS
In a workday, this position requires the following activities:
Sitting, standing, walking, squatting, bending kneeling, reaching, twisting, crawling, stair climbing, lifting items 60 lbs or less, carrying, pushing, and pulling. The Primary tools/equipment used in this position and approximate weight:
1. Lifting up to (60lbs)
2. Pushing/pulling equipment up to (100 lbs)
This is a high volume, fast paced private club environment. It is every employee’s responsibility to have knowledge of how to operate any tools and equipment prior to use.
Attendance Requirements
Attendance Requirements for this position: this is a full time hourly position requiring 5 plus days per week. Late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays maybe requirements of this role.
