Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a thorough understanding of GAAP principles. As a key member of our management team, the Controller will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, cash management, corporate accounting, and budgeting processes to support the organization’s financial health.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including accounts receivable and cash management.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Manage budgeting processes, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial objectives and reporting requirements.
- Utilize financial software to streamline accounting processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Develop internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong understanding of debits and credits.
- Proficiency in financial software applications; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present financial information to stakeholders.
