TITLE: Assistant Tennis Professional
DEPARTMENT: Tennis Operations
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
REPORTS TO: Director of Tennis or Head Tennis Professional
JOB SUMMARY: As a Country Club of Mobile Team Member, you must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. Our members and guests expect the best. Successful CCM Team Members take pride in personal appearances, show dedication, display integrity and honesty in all areas of service.
Assist tennis professional in management of all facilities and activities related to tennis operations.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provides group and individual tennis lessons as assigned by Head Tennis Professional.
2. Assists with special tennis events.
3. Records court reservations and lesson appointments.
4. Supervises other tennis staff including tennis shop salesperson.
5. Assists Head Tennis Professional as requested.
6. Manages tennis shop in tennis professional’s absence.
7. Helps keep tennis facility clean and in proper order.
8. Manages inventory of tennis shop; interacts with purchase personnel to purchase merchandise.
9. Purchases trophies for special events.
10. Attends staff meetings.
11. Completes other appropriate tasks assigned by the Director of Tennis or Head Tennis Professional.
