TITLE: Bag, Range and Cart Attendant
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
REPORTS TO: Head Golf Professional and Asst Golf Professional
DEPARTMENT: Golf Operations
JOB SUMMARY: As a Country Club of Mobile Team Member, you must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. Our members and guests expect the best. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. The cart attendant will serve as the first point of contact with members and their guests, giving assistance by providing carts from the cart shed, to the court staging area outside the pro shop.
2. Removes bags from the back storage room and loads into carts.
3. Transports range balls to each end of the range and fills appropriate containers.
4. Places balls at evenly spaced intervals on the range.
5. Operates tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls.
6. Washes all range balls daily.
7. Removes bags from carts and returns bags to assigned rack in the bag storage room.
8. Returns carts to cart shelter, moves towels, pencils, scorecards, tees, drink cans, etc. from the golf carts and saves reusable items, washes cart with pressure cleaner, parks cart in shelter and connects charger cable.
9. If it is determined that the cart requires maintenance then you must set that cart aside and fill out a maintenance request form.
10. When supplies are getting low you must notify the Assistant Golf Professional.
11. Be open and interested in members’ suggestions, resolving issues as they arise, including presentation of more difficult issues and possible solutions to the Assistant Golf Professional.
12. At all times will protect both the tangible and intangible assets of the Club and its employees.
13. Any other duties assigned by the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional or Assistant Golf Professional.
