Job Summary:
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Assistant General Manager, the Locker Room Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests by ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the locker room facilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Keep the locker room areas clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
- Regularly restock supplies, such as towels, toiletries, and other amenities, to ensure availability for members and guests.
- Maintain locker room equipment in good condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Greet members and guests warmly as they enter the locker room, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
- Assist members with locker assignments and provide instructions on locker usage if needed.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about club facilities and services.
- Offer fresh towels to members and guests upon arrival and retrieve used towels as they leave the locker room.
- Ensure an adequate supply of clean towels is available throughout the day.
- Safeguard members' personal belongings in a secure manner while they use the club's facilities.
- Monitor and control access to the locker room to ensure the safety and privacy of members and their belongings.
- Regularly inspect and clean restrooms, showers, and vanity areas to maintain impeccable hygiene standards.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly to keep the locker room area tidy.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail; ability to multi-task
- Learn member names and personally recognize members and guests
- Be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
- Must be available for PM and Weekend shifts
