Job Summary:
Under the guidance and supervision of the Chef de Cuisine, the Seasonal Poolside Service Attendant will be responsible for preparing and serving casual poolside menu items during the summer season. This includes operating the grill to prepare burgers, wraps, salads, and sides while ensuring a clean, organized work environment and maintaining high service standards. You’ll be working in a fun, high-energy environment, providing guests with delicious food and excellent service while enjoying the sunny atmosphere.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items like burgers, wraps, fries, salads, and sides according to CCR recipes and quality standards.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment, including grills, to cook food quickly and efficiently in a concession stand-style service.
- Plate and assemble dishes with attention to detail, ensuring high quality and presentation.
- Set up and stock the poolside grill station with the necessary items, such as condiments, utensils, and fresh ingredients.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of your workstation, keeping it tidy and organized at all times.
- Assist in prepping ingredients, portioning food, and restocking supplies as needed throughout the shift.
- Work closely with other poolside attendants and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and quick service.
- Help set up the cooking station at the beginning of the shift and break it down at the end of the service.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- A friendly demeanor and a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
- Must be able to handle the pace of a busy poolside service while maintaining focus on quality and presentation.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs for up to 8 hours.
- A strong focus on providing excellent customer service while interacting with poolside guests.
- Work effectively with other staff to ensure efficient kitchen and service operations.
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is helpful but not required.
- No prior grilling or kitchen experience needed—training will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
