Are you looking for a fun, seasonal position for the summer? The Country Club of Virginia is looking for Assistant Swim Coaches to assist in the development and execution of a fun, fair, organized, and competitive swimming program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Instruct proper skill development
- Operate computer and input data for the team
- Communicate with parents addressing concerns and resolving problems
- Supervise children during special events such as outings and parties
- Assist Head Swim Coach with meet preparation, set-up and clean-up, paperwork, and coaching/encouraging swimmers at the meets
- Promote team spirit and the development of self-esteem among the swimmers
- Demonstrate and reinforce good sportsmanship
- Coach all regular practices, group lesson programs, and private lessons as needed
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Less than high school education and six months to one-year related experience or training
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
CPR, First Aid, and WSI preferred but not required
