What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Store Kitchen/Clerk position at COUNTRY DAIRY?
This employee will work with the team to provide excellent customer service to all of the Country Dairy Farm Store guests. The are the face of Country Dairy to each person who walks into the store for a meal, to purchase product, or to enjoy a tour or a bike ride. This employee is responsible to know and follow all of CDFS policies regarding employment, customer relations, good manufacturing protocols, and food safety. This position could be full-time or part-time, depending on Country Dairy Farm Store needs and employees availability. This employee will need to work most Saturdays; however the store is closed on Sundays. This is likely a seasonal position.
This employee will be eligible to receive tip income in addition to the base compensation.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- being familiar with the CDFS menu so that orders can be filled quickly and accurately
- prepping food for orders
- preparing food on trays to be brought out to customers
- making/cooking all menu items
- working at the ice cream counter
- stocking the cooler and freezer
- answering the phone in a pleasant manner and taking orders accurately
- serving customers through the drive-through efficiently
- taking food orders and running the cash register
- doing dishes and other necessary tasks, including manage the garbage cans and ensuring the dining room is clean.
- doing closing tasks and recording those tasks accurately
