Housekeeper/Laundry

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and laundry facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing and drying techniques.
• Handle dry cleaning requests as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Maintain cleanliness in laundry areas and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry products.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting, is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with laundering techniques and dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
