Housekeeper/Laundry

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our facilities while ensuring that all laundry services meet high standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities, ensuring all areas are spotless and welcoming.
• Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing and drying techniques.
• Handle dry cleaning services as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care and returned in pristine condition.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry products, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or services related to housekeeping or laundry.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.

Skills

• Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of laundering techniques, including the proper handling of various fabrics and materials.
• Attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $12.80 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
• Weekends only
