Housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
• Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary supplies, including toiletries and linens.
• Conduct floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness in storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring timely processing of linens and towels.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation in all cleaning tasks.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure efficient operations.

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and floor care practices.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $9.50 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
