Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Green Bay North, WI (2308 Lineville Rd, Green Bay, WI 54313) is looking for experienced housekeepers to join our team.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, punctual, and hard-working. As the hotel is a 24/7 operation, flexibility in scheduling is the key. Schedule includes weekend shifts too.
JOB OVERVIEW: Room Attendants/Housekeepers play critical roles in hospitality industry. They create clean and orderly environments for our guests to feel welcome, safe, and comforted during their stay.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following established cleaning procedures and brand standards within required time frames to include but not limited to: making beds; dusting furniture; cleaning walls, ceiling, and woodwork; sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floor; washing windows, door panels, and sills; emptying wastebaskets, and emptying and cleaning ashtrays; cleaning and vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies; and cleaning bathroom sink, toilet and tubs/showers stalls.
- Replenish supplies in guestrooms such as bathroom necessities, drinking glasses and writing supplies.
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
- Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/General Manager.
- Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/General Manager.
- Document and secure “Lost and Found” according to the standards.
- Stock, organize, and maintain the housekeeping carts and equipment. Organize the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, replenishing as needed.
- Coordinate with other housekeeping team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks by the end of your shift.
- Replace light bulbs if necessary. Report hazardous conditions, equipment and maintenance issues to Maintenance Engineer/General Manager as needed.
- Conserve energy by closing shades/drapes; turn down air conditioning/heat in unoccupied rooms as necessary.
- Uphold customer service excellence by addressing any guest concerns related to housekeeping promptly and professionally. Greet guests in warm, friendly manner.
- Ensures key control and security policies to maintain the guest privacy and security of personal belongings when working in guestrooms.
- Use all materials, chemicals and tools safely to avoid injury, waste, unnecessary damage or accidents.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or related roles.
- Proficiency in customer service with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and standards in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices.
- Experience in residential or commercial floor care.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members in the most courteous manners.
