What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Associate/Night Auditor position at Country Inn & Suites Jackson Airport/Pearl?
One must be flexible to work any shift, weekends and holidays as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the Hotel. The position entails balancing guest accounts, ensuring the lobby area is clean and welcoming with cookies and fresh hot coffee at all times, checking guests in/out, informing guests of local attractions/sights, making and/or cancelling reservations, resolving guest issues and concerns, perform other duties as requested by management, all while providing exceptional customer service. MUST HAVE 10 YEARS OF HOTEL EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel customer service.
- *Must be able to compute accurate mathematical calculations
- *Must be able to clearly communicate in English with guests, visitors, management and coworkers to their understanding, both in person and by telephone.
- Must be able to provide legible communication and directions
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up tasks
- Ability to work well under pressure of constant frequent arrivals and departures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information
- Ability to ensure security of guest room access
- Ability to remain stationary on feet at assigned post for extended periods of time
- Ability to work cohesively with other departments and coworkers as part of a team
