We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments in our facility. This position is essential in providing high-quality service to our guests and ensuring that all laundry operations run smoothly. A background in hospitality or housekeeping management is preferred, as well as experience in custodial or industrial cleaning.
Duties
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently and safely.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store linens and garments according to established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by performing regular floor care and custodial tasks.
- Inspect items for stains or damages before processing and report any issues to management.
- Ensure that all laundry supplies are stocked and organized for optimal workflow.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management of linens and cleaning supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
