What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance-Part-Time position at Country Inn & Suites?
REPORTS TO:
General Manager.
EXPERIENCE:
General knowledge of maintenance and related work experience.
DRESS CODE:
Maintenance uniform including name tag.
PHYSICAL:
Requires the ability to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to drive a vehicle and have good communication skills. Must be able to help out in an emergency situation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preventive Maintenance of all guest rooms, equipment, and supplies. This includes, but is not limited to:
- HVAC and PTAC
- Vacuums
- Ice Machines
- TV's
- Washers and dryers
- Water heaters
- Sprinkler Systems
- Swimming Pool
- Case goods and cabinets
- Maintain the swimming pool and whirlpool according to standards set by local health departments and the franchise.
- Perform all specific repairs unless a general contractor is needed and approved by management.
- Provide assistance to all other departments as needed.
- Be on call at all times in case of emergency.
- Must be able to operate basic maintenance tools.
- Must be able to read and follow instructions.
- Must be able to run errands for hotel.
- Must adhere to strict key control policies
- Must keep accurate records of all preventative maitnenace.
- Perform outdoor lawn and snow services as needed.
