What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Hotel Front Desk Agent (Evening Shift) position at Country Inn & Suites?
Join us at the #1 rated Country Inn & Suites in Ohio as one of our Front Desk Agents. Assist our guests in the check-in and check-out process and do what it takes to make our guests' stay a memorable one. Weekday and weekend availability is required. Current preference is for evening shifts (3-11pm); however, flexibility is a huge benefit. The ability to cover morning (7-3pm) and night (11-7am) shifts will be strongly considered, but we will work with your schedule to the best of our ability.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare reservations for guest arrival
- Provide guests with any requested items or needs during their stay
- Process and handle all transactions with guest including cost of stay and market purchases
- Respond to guest complaints, special requests and take action to ensure guest satisfaction
- Greet and acknowledge all guests with a welcoming smile
- Report to supervisor/maintenance for needed repairs or unsafe conditions
- Follow established safety procedures at all times. Immediately report any suspicious behavior to the supervisor or manager on duty
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
- May assist with other duties as assigned
Weekends and holidays are required.
Desk Hours range from:
AM Shift: 7am - 3pm
PM Shift: 3pm - 11pm
Audit Shift: 11pm - 7am (if willing to learn)
Occasional Mid shifts are an option during busy time periods.
