Country Inn and Suites is seeking a customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Clerk. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and creating a positive experience from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a warm welcome.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and information about the hotel and local attractions.
- Manage reservations, including bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
- Handle payment transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, policies, and procedures.
- Resolve guest issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience at a Choice hotel is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems is a plus
- Ability to handle challenging situations with a positive attitude
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
