Responsibilities for the NOC LPN:

• Assist the RN Supervisor with the overall operational function of the facility during the NOC hours
  
• Act as a resource for nursing assistants and support staff
  
• Make routine resident visits to assess physical and emotional status and implement any required nursing interventions
• Assist patients to achieve and maintain the highest level of self-care and independence
• Maintain positive and effective communication and relationships with the patients and their families
• Communicate all pertinent information concerning resident care to RN Supervisor
• Able to problem-solve, think critically, and take immediate corrective action if patient well-being or care is in jeopardy
• Assist with orders as necessary
• Assist in the verbal and written communications of patient information to appropriate personnel, physicians, and point of contact
  
• Assess patient symptoms and changes in conditions, and maintain accurate reports and documentation regarding resident status
• Other duties as assigned
  

​Qualifications for an LPN:

• Must hold a current license and be in good standing as a Licensed Nurse in the State of Minnesota
• Must be CPR certified and have completed first aid training
• Must have previous experience in nursing or other healthcare/medical fields
• Experience with memory loss preferred, but not required
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous management or leadership experience preferred, but not required
