What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Temp position at Country Music Association?
The Country Music Association (CMA) is hiring a temp position on the Marketing team to support needs leading up to, during and after CMA Fest 2025. Responsibilities vary from planning rundowns and organizing assets for stage screens, reviewing assets and correcting specs, on-site festival screens support, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
This position is from April 1 through June 12, 2025, based in Nashville, TN, and requires up to approximately 32 hours of work per week, preferably in-person Tuesday through Thursday but can be remote for a percentage of time if needed. More hours will be needed and must be in-person fully week of CMA Fest, June 2nd – 8th. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour inclusive of taxes and fees with the opportunity for overtime pay week of CMA Fest.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist to manage CMA Fest daytime and nighttime stage screens content for all stages
- Build and manage rundowns for every set break on every stage
- Track and deliver contractual sponsor obligations
- Assist manage stage screens content vendor(s)
- Create/edit graphics using Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of digital export operations and work in Adobe Premiere/Media Encoder. Transcode 1080p, 1080i, and Pro Res videos
- Ability to troubleshoot and communicate or perform technical changes necessary in the above systems
- Collaborate with stage managers and other event production staff on instructions for video with audio content versus graphic content
- Assist with on-site oversight and troubleshooting of stage screens
- Administrative tasks as assigned to support the Marketing team
- Organizing credential, meal and parking logistics for external team members Schedule meetings and circulate calendar appointments

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience in marketing, digital, and/or event production in the music industry or related field

Experience using Microsoft Office 365 and its suite of products including Outlook, Teams,
OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. - Experience using and editing in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Media Encoder, and familiar with Pro Res videos
