Summary Of The Position
This role involves operating and maintaining plant equipment, safely handling agricultural products, and performing routine maintenance. Responsibilities include inventory management, quality control, and operating heavy machinery, while ensuring proper storage and handling of fertilizers and chemicals, all in compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications
Minimal computer skills required.
Good planning and organizational skills necessary.
Good Communication Skills Required.
Must be dependable.
Must be physically capable of performing tasks.
Must be able to perform task safely
Must have a strong mechanical background
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree, six months related experience and/or training, or combination of education and experience.

Valid driver’s license with company approved driving record.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following and others may be assigned)
- Operate, monitor, and maintain plant equipment, including grain handling, fertilizer blending, and chemical application systems.
- Load and unload, fertilizers, and other agricultural products safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management, record-keeping, and quality control of stored and processed products.
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, conveyors, and forklifts as needed.
- Ensure proper storage, mixing, and handling of agricultural inputs, including chemicals and fertilizers
- Other duties assigned by direct supervisor
