SUMMARY
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Part-Time Store Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and computer skills, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This position requires flexibility, as hours may fluctuate depending on business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following and others may be assigned)
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring inventory is properly stored.
- Maintain a clean and organized office and warehouse environment.
- Ensure shelves and inventory are stocked and updated regularly.
- Operate computer systems to track inventory and process sales.
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed
20-30 hours per week (some additional hours depending on workload), including occasional Saturdays
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There will be no supervisory responsibilities in this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to lift heavy items (50 pounds).
- Previous retail or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to work some Saturdays and adapt to a variable schedule.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree, six months related experience and/or training, or combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver’s license with company approved driving record.
