Country Partners Cooperative is a full-service diversified agricultural cooperative in central Nebraska located in 20 communities, partnering with farmers and ranchers to accomplish more together.
Location Manager
The role of the Location manager is to oversee the operations and profitability of the department by performing duties personally or through subordinate employees. This is a supervisory position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that the location is properly staffed
Is responsible for setting the hours of operation for the location.
Ensure that proper hours are being operated during the spring planting season meet the customers’ needs.
Is responsible for setting and communicating the work schedule for the day.
Manages the locations expenses and operates within the budget.
Works with the location sales staff to ensure that they are meeting their volume goals and maintaining budgeted margin goals.
Able to provide recommendations on crop nutrient needs and crop protection needs to the customer base.
Maintains a good working relationship with their peers, direct reports, and management, and patron.
Know and communicate the locations crop nutrient and crop protection demand to ensure it arrives in a timely manner to avoid production delays.
Make sure that the locations inventory is accurate and is reported on time.
Oversee accounting procedures and invoicing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Oversee that all equipment and rolling stock is in good working order and properly maintained.
Ensure location is working within their budget and P&L goals.
Fills in as needed at the location when labor is short to keep the operation servicing the customer.
Assist in being the key liaison between the location and the Region Manager.
Provide good customer experience.
Maintain clean, well maintained, and a customer friendly work environment.
Works with the Region Manager and Safety Director ensuring that the location is in compliance with OSHA, EPA, NEDEQ, DOT, and the Cooperatives Health and Safety Program.
Perform other activities as directed by their supervisor.
Requirements / Certifications :
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License, Technical & Mechanical Skills, Customer Services Skills, Safety Oriented, Dependable, Punctual, understanding of general accounting principles, perform duties that are physical in nature, and be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
