Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Managers on duty with the daily operation of a 400 unit residential 55 community during a 5 day work week.
Responsibilities
- Perform simple maintenance repairs inside and outside of the Clubhouse.
- Upkeep of the exterior of the Clubhouse and around the community.
- Spot cleaning of the Clubhouse
- Exterior siding repair.
- Move furniture in the Clubhouse, pool deck and sports bar as required.
- Perform preventative maintenance for fire extinguishers, emergency lights, kitchen equipment, etc.
- Be available for on call emergencies
- Inspect property for damage and general upkeep
- Run errands as necessary.
- Work neatly and properly clean up workspace, tools, and supplies.
- Make equipment and supply requests to ensure there is sufficient stock.
- Provide support for events and activities.
- Work in a professional manner.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Spackle and paint prep experience
- Caulking and wood trim repair
- Minor plumbing repair
- Must have good mechanical skills and be able to multi-task.
- Must take initiative to be self-directed and motivated.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
- Must be a problem solver with good communication and follow up.
- Must maintain a neat, professional appearance.
- Must have or be able to become certified in CPR and AED.
