Job Summary
We are seeking a energectic and motiviated lube and light line level (C level technician) powersports and equipment maintenance technician to join our service team at our multiline powersports and equipment dealership. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional dealership environment and possess a strong knowledge of routine off-road vehicle maintenance procedures, diagnostics, and the use of hand and power tools. Experience with powersports (ATVs, UTVs, side by sides, and motorcycles), tractors, and outdoor power equipment is a plus. Automotive experience may be considered as well.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain powersports off-road vehicles, outdoor power equipment, and on-road motorcycles including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, driveline components, tires, and more.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, parts replacement, and fluid checks.
- Inspect vehicles to identify necessary repairs and provide an accurate listing of parts required.
- Use mechanic's hand and power tools to disassemble and reassemble parts
- Test unit systems to ensure proper functioning
- Complete written and computer generated repair orders and document diagnosis and repair jobs
- Must possess basic mechanics hand tools and tool box
Experience
- Previous experience working as either a Powersports, Equipment, or Automotive Technician
- Proficiency in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing on or off-road vehicles
- Ability to read and comprehend OEM service manuals in order to complete the required task.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
- Experience working with off-road ATVs and side by side vehicles is preferred
- Pay is based on experience. Pay is hourly (not flat rate) and there is also a incentivized bonus program.
