Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests and residents alike. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks in guest rooms, common areas, and other facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Ensure proper floor care by sweeping, mopping, or buffing as required.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Follow established safety procedures and protocols while performing cleaning duties.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning or industrial cleaning tasks.
• Provide exceptional hospitality by responding promptly to guest requests and maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or similar roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hotel or custodial services is a plus.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
