We are seeking a highly skilled Farm Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our farm systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with farm equipment and systems.
- Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Seasonal Work: Participate in seasonal tasks such as snow removal, lawn care, and equipment maintenance.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of parts and tool inventory to optimize equipment performance.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; 2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Electrical and Welding Experience: Highly desirable.
- Valid Driver's License: Required.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Physical Demands: Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and push up to 100 lbs.
