Job Description
The CVFF Feed Mill Office Administrator is a vital member of our team, providing administrative support to managers and ensuring the smooth operation of our feed mill facility. This role involves completing a wide range of duties, from routine assistance to high-priority tasks, all while maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
The ideal candidate will be a resourceful team-player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure. They will be flexible, proactive, and efficient, with excellent communication and project management skills. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be detail-oriented, and possess strong typing, grammar, and proof-reading skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide routine assistance to managers on a day-to-day basis, including preparing reports, gathering, summarizing, and analyzing data.
- Routinely pull orders across for feed manufacturing and manage feed load scheduling for the system.
- Maintain files and keep the office organized, including inventory of manufacturing supplies and ordering supplies as needed.
- Oversee the collection and shipping of finished feed and ingredient samples.
- Communicate and/or coordinate instructions and desires with various individuals and/or departments at all levels of the organization.
- Accountable for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting within several business units.
- Assist in ERP software duties throughout the facility.
