AM/PM Weekend Warrior

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with transferring and lifting patients using proper body mechanics
- Follow aseptic technique and infection control practices to prevent the spread of disease
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with physical examinations and medical procedures as directed by healthcare professionals
- Document patient information accurately in medical records
- Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional
- Provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities and support their unique needs
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Perform basic life support measures in emergency situations

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Ability to lift and transfer patients using proper body mechanics
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Proficient in assisting with physical examinations and medical procedures
- Experience in documenting patient information accurately in medical records
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Comfortable working with individuals with developmental disabilities and providing specialized care
- Understanding of various body systems and their functions
- Basic life support certification or willingness to obtain certification
