Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic School Program Staff to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students during before school ,after school,holidays off school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering their development through various program activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with students in a variety of activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
- Assist in planning and leading educational and recreational activities, including weekly and daily lesson plans, arts, and crafts.
- Provide support to the other staff,working as a team and fostering a nurturing environment that aligns with our values.
- Maintain open communication with director on student progress and any concerns.
- Have an upbeat friendly attitude while also maintaining the role of teacher that is respected and honored that will impliment all safty rules set forth at the center.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a fun learning invironment with participation from all students.
- Follow the daily guidance of the director while adjusting to the many ever changing needs in the environment while working with school age children
- Candidates should possess the following skills or experience:
- Background in early childhood education or related fields.
- Experience working with students in a camp or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles.
- Skills in group games or leading physical activities.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques.
- Certification in first aid
- Previous experience in childcare

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
