What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crude Transportation Supervisor position at Countrymark Refining and Logistics?
Position Summary:
Responsible for providing direct supervision of CountryMark’s Crude Transportation and regulatory requirements associated with the safe transportation of crude oil. Ensures accurate transportation, storage of crude oil in a manner that is safe, environmentally sound and ensures compliance with FMCSA, state requirements, and API standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following):
* Direct supervision of CountryMark’s Crude Transportation Drivers.
* Develop, administer, and enforce the FMCSR administrative requirements such as driver qualification files, drug and alcohol testing, and driver logs.
* Assist Compliance in scheduling, maintaining, and updating employee DOT medical certifications.
* Ensure that random DOT drug and alcohol testing for direct reports is conducted efficiently.
* Plan, assign, and evaluate the work of direct reports.
* Manage direct reports' timecards, overtime distribution, and time-off requests in ADP to ensure accuracy and fairness.
* Keep detailed daily records of Crude Transportation Department for monthly Cost of Operations Statement.
* Assist department head with monitoring/auditing the operations budget monthly.
* Make recommendations for the annual operations budget to the department head.
* Create, maintain, and file records associated with Crude Transportation Department.
* Assist the Garage Supervisor with scheduling routine and non-routine maintenance to be conducted on the trucking fleet.
* Monitor daily driver vehicle inspection reports and hold drivers accountable for submitting effective reports each day.
* Consistently monitor daily operations of assigned department vehicles and make economic recommendations to the department head that may result in financial savings.
* Understanding of API Petroleum Measurement Principles in relation to crude oil gathering.
* Submit written accident or incident reports in an orderly and timely manner.

Job Qualifications (refers to job, not incumbent):
High School diploma along with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with some supervisory experience is required.
