What are the responsibilities and job description for the Refinery Turnaround Planner position at Countrymark Refining and Logistics?
Position Summary:
The Turnaround Planner provides detailed job plans, cost estimates, step outs, and material lists for each turnaround job. This position is responsible for developing accurate step outs and estimated durations of each activity. This role will also identify material needed to successfully complete each job.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following):
* Create accurate job plans that comply with safety.
* Enter job plans into Primavera P6 software.
* Diverse knowledge in all crafts and able to plan job with piping, mechanical equipment, rotating equipment, instrument and electrical, etc.
* Gather quotes and other cost estimates for each job.
* Develop bill of materials for each job.
* Review all scope in the TAR schedule. This includes TAR, Project, Technical, and Maintenance activities.
* Ensure coordination of job plans across crafts and other work scope.
* Fluent in reading P&IDs, Vendor, ISOs, and other type of drawings.
* Create work orders for each job and forecast items.
* Work with material expeditors to ensure all items are on site before turnaround begins.
* Coordinate with CountryMark crafts and contractors on assigning jobs.
* Review and Develop bid packages with TAR scheduler and CountryMark leadership.
* Conduct weekly meetings with the Planners.
* Prepare and post weekly planning progress updates to SharePoint.
* Maintain and oversee Addendum and FCO logs.
* Report any scope that will extend the TAR completion date.
Secondary Duties:
* Assist Scheduler as needed.
* Maintain accurate information in maintenance management information systems, including work order and equipment history files.
* Create and generate reports, graphics, metrics, and dashboards as needed to be used by management in planning, control, and execution of TAR activities.
* Serve as construction field coordinator during turnaround events.
Job Qualifications (refers to job, not incumbent):
Education: High School Diploma required. Associate level or degree or higher from an accredited institution preferred.
Experience 7-10 years of experience in oil and gas industry is required.. P6 Primavera experience preferred.
Other:
* Strong computer skills, including experience working with Primavera P6, Microsoft Word and Excel, and SharePoint.
* Working knowledge of the use of process flow sheets and P&IDs required.
* Comply with all EAM processes.
* Reading and math skills are required along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and produce field sketches.
* Ability to multi-task and initiative-taking.
