Job Type: Full Time, must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays

Job Summary: Provide leadership and foster a team atmosphere in a retail-oriented environment. The floor/ warehouse manager has multiple tasks and responsibilities to fulfill. Carrying product out for customers and loading vehicles will be a primary task. CountryMax offers a free carry out service that every floor/ WHS store team member is expected to provide. Safety is extremely important when working in the warehouse. The floor/ warehouse manager will work in the store and warehouse. The floor/ warehouse manager will ensure the warehouse is cleaned and organized to increase efficiency with the store and merchandising.

Position Outline: The floor/ warehouse manager is a critical position in the store. The floor/ warehouse manager will receive hands on education in the store. Working in the store and the warehouse the floor/ warehouse manager will maintain a clean and organized warehouse to promote increased efficiency across the store and warehouse. Maintaining a timely and proficient schedule in regards to unloading and loading product is another key component of the floor/ WHS manager. After proper education the floor/ WHS manager will learn to fill propane tanks and to operate the forklift and other heavy equipment. The essential job functions include (but are not limited too) are:

· Provide top-notch CountryMax helpful service, including carrying out any and all products for customers and patrons

· After proper training the floor team member may need to operate Point of Sale terminals and handle financial transactions

· On truck days’ work as a team to quickly and efficiently stock all of the product

· As a team keep the store presentable and clean- Includes store maintenance & merchandising

Position Requirements:

The floor/ warehouse manager will primarily work in the store and in the warehouse

· Previous leadership is not required but the floor/ WHS manager will be tasked with delegating the floor and WHS team

· Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

· Past experience operating a forklift or working in a warehouse environment is a plus

· Must be able to stand on your feet for up to 12 hours or during the store’s operating hours

· Helpful service and keen social skills are a must

· Ability to lead and promote a team environment in a retail atmosphere

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
