Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including clinics, senior care facilities, and medical-surgical units. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during their treatment and recovery.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist in sterile processing and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Provide catheter care and support for patients with acute pain management needs.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and assist with sample collection as required.
- Deliver compassionate care to geriatric patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members in primary care settings to develop patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and post-treatment care.
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in clinic settings or senior care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and medical-surgical nursing practices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with catheter care procedures and acute pain management strategies.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
