What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Nursing position at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center?
This position is responsible for overall management of nursing department services. This key management position evaluates and makes recommendations to Facility administrative personnel (i.e. administrator, assistant administrator) and the Facility's Governing Board. This position will provide nursing services including, but not limited to development, implementation and on-going monitoring of all major nursing programs; overall compliance of the facilities state and federal regulatory nursing program compliance; developing and recommending policies and procedures to meet new regulations or regulatory changes as instructed by the administrator or Governing Board; observations regarding nursing issues; investigation and subsequent recommendations regarding risk management trending issues and other duties/responsibilities as assigned by facility administrator and/or Governing Board members.
