Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Install appliances and equipment
• Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
• Collaborate with Administrator and other professionals during renovations
• Report to Administrator for issues

Skills

• 1-2 Years of experience working in maintenance capacity for commercial/residential buildings.
• Thorough knowledge of building materials and tools as well as their use in maintenance and repair.
• Working knowledge of building structures and systems (i.e.: steam and hot water boilers, electrical systems, air conditioning equipment, etc.).
• Working knowledge in one or more of the following: carpentry, plumbing and heating, electrical, general contracting.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to withstand temperature fluctuations normally found within an office environment, and varying weather conditions which may exist while performing outdoor duties.
