Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Install appliances and equipment
- Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
- Collaborate with Administrator and other professionals during renovations
- Report to Administrator for issues
Skills
- 1-2 Years of experience working in maintenance capacity for commercial/residential buildings.
- Thorough knowledge of building materials and tools as well as their use in maintenance and repair.
- Working knowledge of building structures and systems (i.e.: steam and hot water boilers, electrical systems, air conditioning equipment, etc.).
- Working knowledge in one or more of the following: carpentry, plumbing and heating, electrical, general contracting.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.

- Ability to withstand temperature fluctuations normally found within an office environment, and varying weather conditions which may exist while performing outdoor duties.
