Countryside Veterinary Clinic is looking for full-time Veterinarians!
Established in 1978, our private practice is located in Vernal, Utah. The hospital is equipped with 3 examination rooms, radiography, a surgical suite, and separate kennel rooms for large breed dogs, small breed dogs, and cats. Our treatment area includes 3 treatment stations and a surgery recovery area. Built to house 3-4 DVMs with support staff, our facility has room to grow as our community’s needs do.
We are seeking team players with excellent communication skills and confidence in their medicine skills. Interest in Internal Medicine and Emergency Care is preferred but not required. Must have a positive, energetic, and professional attitude.

Skills and Basic Qualifications:
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from a U.S. accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Utah.
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
- Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
- Manages time and tasks appropriately.
- Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
- Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth

Pay: $120,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year

Experience:

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive veterinary care to animals, including diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
- Perform routine examinations and vaccinations, ensuring the health and well-being of pets.
- Utilize veterinary terminology and knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy in patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while maintaining accurate medical records.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care plans and health concerns.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure a safe and efficient practice environment.
