We are seeking an experienced Paving Crew Leader to join our dynamic team. As a leader in our paving department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing paving projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the crew, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paving and construction, with proven managerial skills and the ability to lead teams effectively. We are specifically looking for hardworking individuals who possess a versatile skill set and know how to do a little bit of everything. Your hands-on experience and adaptability will be essential in this role, as you will need to step in and assist with various tasks as needed, from operating heavy machinery like skid steers and excavators to performing manual labor.

In this position, you will also be responsible for training and mentoring crew members, managing equipment and materials, and maintaining safety protocols on-site. Strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results will be vital for success. Duties

• Supervise crew and keep crew on task
• Coordinate supply with truck driver, and team members to facilitate smooth workflow.
• strong understanding of operating machine skid steer and excavator
• Manage schedules using Primavera or similar tools to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in construction management.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Supervisor or in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
