Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the County of Blair. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our 24-hour facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing preventive maintenance tasks such as basic carpentry, electrical repair, and painting
- Troubleshooting minor maintenance problems involving plumbing, HVAC, and equipment repair or replacement
- Assembling, moving, or repairing furniture, door knobs, and locks
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED
- At least one year's experience in trades related to building maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of various building maintenance procedures and techniques
