The Case Manager - Family Engagement will be responsible for coordinating services and support for families involved in the child welfare system. This role includes conducting assessments, developing family engagement plans, facilitating family meetings, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the needs of families are met. The Case Manager will work directly with families to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and foster a supportive environment conducive to positive outcomes.
Responsibilities include maintaining case documentation, tracking family progress, providing resources and referrals, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The Case Manager will also be involved in crisis intervention and support, advocating for families, and participating in training and professional development opportunities.
Eligible candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, criminal justice or related field preferred; a minimum of two years of experience in child welfare or family support services is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to advocacy for children and families are essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and proficiency in computer applications pertaining to case management. A valid driver's license is required for this position.
