Youth Services Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Youth Services Supervisor to join our team in the County of Blair. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of juvenile youth.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a caseload of juvenile youth, enforcing court orders and conditions of supervision, reviewing rules of probation supervision with juveniles and their families, and conducting investigations and preparing case histories. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with diverse populations, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality services to our community.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise a caseload of juvenile youth and enforce court orders and conditions of supervision
* Review rules of probation supervision with juveniles and their families
* Conduct investigations and prepare case histories
* Transport juvenile youth to appointments, court hearings, and placement facilities
* Monitor electronic monitoring devices and respond to any issues that may arise
* Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, criminology, social work, sociology, psychology, or a related field. You will also need to have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license without any infractions that would prevent hire. In addition, you will need to demonstrate self-motivation, flexibility, and strong customer service skills.
